About Artodo Casting
Artodo Casting is a workspace for casting professionals, agencies and production teams to publish casting calls, discover artists, review applications, arrange auditions and communicate. The service is provided by Trabado EOOD, Plovdiv, Bulgaria (“Artodo”, “we”, “us”). Contact: info@artodo.io.
These terms govern your use of Artodo Casting. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you act for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed; accepting these terms does not constitute consent to optional marketing or unrelated data processing.
Accounts and team access
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into an agreement to operate a casting workspace. Provide accurate registration and organisation details, keep them current, and protect your sign-in credentials. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Use individual team accounts and grant access only to authorised people. Organisation administrators are responsible for managing invitations, permissions and the removal of former team members. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account, subject to applicable law.
Our role in your production
Artodo provides the software connecting casting teams and artists. Unless separately agreed in writing, we are not an employer, talent representative or party to a production, engagement or employment agreement.
The casting organiser is responsible for its listings, selection decisions, audition arrangements, contracts, payments, working conditions and legal obligations. A listing, invitation, match or shortlist is not a guarantee of an audition, engagement, payment or an artist’s availability. Verify relevant information before making commitments.
Casting calls and fair treatment
Publish genuine opportunities with clear, accurate information about the organiser, production, roles, location, dates, compensation or unpaid status, and submission requirements. Update or close listings when circumstances change. Do not misrepresent compensation or request misleading fees from applicants.
Treat artists respectfully. Role criteria must be lawful, proportionate and relevant to the production. Do not use the service for unlawful discrimination, harassment, exploitation, deceptive recruitment or unsafe audition requests.
If a production involves a person under 18, the organiser must arrange the necessary parent or guardian involvement, permissions and safeguards required by applicable law. A casting listing does not replace these obligations.
Your content and artists’ work
You retain your rights in content you upload, including casting descriptions, images, scripts and production materials. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and share that content, including permissions relating to people depicted in it.
You grant Artodo a non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, format and display your content only as needed to provide the service and distribute it to the audience you select, including public casting listings. This licence does not transfer ownership or permit unrelated advertising use. It ends when the content is removed, except for copies retained lawfully for backups, legal obligations or disputes.
Artists retain rights in their headshots, CVs, showreels and self-tapes. Access to an application allows evaluation for the relevant casting; it does not give you permission to publish, sell, use in a production, train AI with, or otherwise reuse those materials without a separate lawful basis and the necessary permissions.
Applicant information and confidentiality
Access personal data only for legitimate casting purposes and share it only with people who need it for that work. Protect private messages, application materials, internal notes and audition details. Do not export artist information for unsolicited marketing or build unrelated contact lists.
Organisations must establish their own lawful grounds for recruitment processing, provide appropriate privacy information, honour individuals’ rights and set appropriate retention periods. Where Artodo processes data on an organisation’s instructions, the required data processing agreement must govern that processing; these terms do not replace it.
Acceptable use
Use Artodo Casting lawfully and in a way that respects other people. You must not:
- Impersonate a person or organisation, publish fraudulent opportunities, or upload content that infringes another person’s rights.
- Scrape or bulk collect personal data, bypass access controls, share credentials, or access another organisation’s private workspace without permission.
- Send spam, upload malicious software, interfere with the service, or attempt to compromise its security.
- Upload unlawful content or sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for the casting purpose.
Fees and third-party services
If you choose a paid feature or plan, its price, taxes, billing period, renewal and cancellation terms must be presented before you commit. Any separately agreed order or subscription terms apply to that purchase. These terms alone do not create a payment obligation. Mandatory consumer rights, where applicable, are unaffected.
Links, maps and externally hosted media may involve third-party services with their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control those services or the agreements you make with an artist or production team.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep the service useful and available, but maintenance, updates or technical problems may interrupt access. Keep your own copies of essential production materials and confirm critical audition arrangements with the people involved.
We do not guarantee the accuracy of user content or any casting outcome. Each party is responsible for breaches of its obligations under applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be limited.
Suspension and closing an account
You can stop using the service and request account closure at info@artodo.io. Leaving an organisation does not automatically erase its casting records, other users’ messages or information that must lawfully be retained. The Privacy Policy explains your data rights.
We may restrict content or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a material breach, unlawful activity, a security risk or a legal obligation. Where lawful and practicable, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may contact us to challenge an action. Urgent protective measures may take effect immediately.
Changes, applicable law and disputes
We may update these terms as the service or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes through the service or by email, unless urgent legal or security reasons require otherwise, and seek renewed agreement where required. Changes do not apply retroactively.
Bulgarian law applies, subject to any mandatory protections in your country of residence. Disputes may be brought before the courts competent under applicable law; these terms do not remove a consumer’s right to use the courts or protections available to them. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern.
The Bulgarian and English versions are intended to have the same meaning. If they differ, the Bulgarian version governs to the extent permitted by mandatory law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
